About Us Sarvodaya was set up to promote peaceful co-existence between humans and animals. In June 2009, like-minded Veterinarians and other professionals came together to form an organization which would help secure the rights of all creatures to life and dignity, through animal welfare and registered as a Trust in December 2011 in Bangalore. Sarvodaya’s flagship program is the Animal Birth Control Program (ABC), which aims to reduce street dog population to manageable proportion and to give community dogs a valued place in society.
